I'm Carolyn. A boisterous, curiosity driven creative entrepreneur. I started Bad Axe Enterprises LLC in 2015 to help out a friend who desperately wanted a marketing expert on her team. Ten years later, and I have not stopped rising to each new challenge it meets.

Bluffs and valleys mark the geography of our Driftless region I call home: the unique part of the midwest that glaciers didn't touch. My personal favorite river valley is the Bad Axe River: from the first time I laid eyes on it I felt its magnetic pull. Ask anyone who lives in the Driftless, especially if they have lived away for a time like I have. The call of the Driftless is inexplicable.
When it came time to name this business, I wanted something bold, memorable, and a touch playful. Something that honored the magnetic pull I feel to this region. Something...Bad Axe.
